Great harmonica, tight, bright, easy-bending, durable

I own all 18 of the Lee Oskar harmonicas (all keys including the Lows). I've been playing Lee Oskar for years and love it. Lee Oskars seal well and are tight. They are a little brighter than Hohner Special 20s, but have the same bendability and are much more durable. You can really kick these harmonicas around (breath-wise) and they still perform great. They hit the bends precisely and cleanly. The fact that you can swap out the reed plates when reeds go flat is very handy as you don't have to replace the whole harmonica just because of one flat reed (I've done this many times over the years with my harps). The "Low" keys are a nice addition when playing with a singer as you don't compete in the same register as the singer (even if you are playing the same melody). The "Low" keys also allow you to accompany a band with bass lines, as well as play non-traditional blues (such as the stuff played by Son of Dave). Overall I find the Lee Oskars are my favorite all-around diatonic harmonicas. Well made and great sounding harps. And, the music stand is one of the few places where you can consistently get all the Lee Oskar harps (plus replacement reeds) and they give great service.

Great harp, at a reasonable price.

Looking for some more range

Bought both the LD & LE. Opened the package and was very happy with the crisp, clean response from both. First impression of “bendability” appears to be consistent. Music stand- good job on getting them here in descent time frame. Thanks

Low F# harmonica

Sometimes I tune my guitar a half step down to make it easier to sing if I’m struggling. All the songs I used to play with a G harp I now can use the low F#. I didn’t even know they made such a thing
Glad I got it

It is ok

Aflat. I use it only rarely ( We cover Constant Craving). My old A flat was a Lee Oskar as well.
The new one was a wee bit unresponsive. Hoping it breaks in.
